USD Coin Wallet ($USDC)

USCoin (USDC) is a fully collateralized stable coin pegged on the value of USD. It is a decentralized, open-source protocol built on a blockchain developed by Center consortium. This coin is developed for daily usage allowing lending, payments and making investments efficiently and at a very low cost. It is a good way of bringing the masses into the blockchain. USDC is full protected from volatility since for every coin issued, a corresponding dollar must be deposited in a reserve bank. Supply of USDC is based on the dollar deposits made in the issuing reserve banks. The reserve bank, however, does not have control like in the case of traditional fiat since the coin has to be issued on the blockchain. Circle is one of the issuers of this coin. All commercial issuers must have a license to handle electronic money and meet the terms and conditions of Center.

USDC coin is a Proof of Work (PoW) consensus mechanism coin that utilizes scrypt algorithm. It is mined using the stated difficulty algorithm but is not premined. Users can now easily transfer and make payments over the blockchain securely, efficiently and at near zero costs. This coin allows instant payments from anywhere in the world. This coin comes with its official wallet, with Windows, Linux, ARM Linux, macOS and Android version. iOS version is coming out soon. USDC is currently listed on Coinbase Pro, Poloniex, Coinsuper, Trade Satoshi, IDEX, SouthXchange and Exrates.
